Toenail fungus is difficult to treat whichever treatment method you choose, the fungus is protected by the nail which means any treatment has trouble reaching it, and it takes time for a healthy nail to grow through and you are completely free.

If you have a severe toenail fungus it is unlikely that any home remedy will work, and even over the counter treatments may struggle. You may need a prescribed anti-fungal treatment from your doctor.
